Sorry to hear your FinalStraw has a bad case of coffee breath!! Happens to the best of us.
To avoid that lingering smell, and for easier cleaning, at least once a month we recommend you put your FinalStraw into the dishwasher folded into a "V" formation to allow for cleaning in between the metal pieces.
Additionally, you have the option to sterilize your FinalStraw in boiling water with a little bit of baking soda.
