I've always had sensitive, dry, slightly acne-prone skin and I spent 20 years trying to find the right products to keep my skin calm and looking good. The RRC is the ONE! It evens my skin tone and keeps my skin happy on the daily. If I ever have a breakout (usually hormonal), I just use the RRC twice daily instead of once and it helps my skin heal faster and look healthier. “The title of my review is true for me, but only after learning HOW to apply it. For example, if this gets flaky I recommend playing around with oils and applying oil of choice as an extra thin layer under the Redness Rescue Cream. But even if oil is not your thing, I would still give it a try since it all really depends on your skin type and what you plan to use on top of it. Works both in the hottest and cool weather. I may be wrong about this but I noticed that my face doesn't get red or brown after no longer than about an hour in the sun with just one pump on my face. I suspect it may have something to do with the titanium dioxide and zinc oxide which are both typically used as mineral, physical sunscreens. (**Please note: Fitglow Beauty has neither labeled nor confirmed the RRC Cream as a sunscreen; this is entirely my opinion!!) I have also learned how to use this effectively as a primer under the VitaActive Foundation. If you are concerned about the creamy-waxy feel to being possibly comedogenic like I was in the beginning, fear not. For me, this cream is a dream! It does what it claims it's good for and more. As an added bonus, it contains calendula which is fabulous for it's skin healing healing properties and the scent is light and fresh. (Skin Type: Both Oily AND Dry, Acne Prone. Complexion: Fair to Light).”

“This product is really unique. It's both a redness reducer for an immediate reduction in redness, and it's also skin loving skin care. Typically with redness reducing products they're more in the makeup realm and really are not good for your skin, and just help cover up redness.. Not treat it. This is very slight, but for me I can actually use it without wearing makeup which I appreciate. It has an almost cooling effect to the skin when you first put it on as well which is really nice, especially for someone like me with rosacea. It's not oily, or chalky, just a really nice smooth light cream application. The only reason I give it four stars as opposed to five is I do find it slightly drying. I do however have dry skin to begin with and live in a very dry climate so just full disclosure there. It is the best redness reducing / green cream I have found though and it's really a great product.”
