After a long time on research, that was the best option I could find for the price. I had the opportunity to test both Lightspeed Zulu and Bose A20. In my option, this headset is better and cheaper. Batteries last long (well, it depends how much you fly, of course). It comes with a decent case. No regrets, highly recommend.

This purchase involved 3 decisions: Could I justify getting an expensive ANR headset? I had been getting headaches on long flights and wondered if ANR would help. No-one could advise me and it was a case of buy and see. The difference is incredible and I'd encourage anyone to go ANR if they can. What should I buy? Bose A20 and Lightspeed Zulu PFX were out of my price range, particularly if they turned out not to perform as expected. Judging by the reviews this really only left the Zulu 2. Although I've not tried any other ANR sets I find it difficult to believe anything else could be an improvement. Light, good build quality and excellent acoustics . I've still got to get my head round the FlightLink App. Where should I buy? I went to AFE in Manchester to start but they didn't have a GA Zulu 2 in stock, but let me try a PFX helicopter set for "size". Somewhat to my surprise they encouraged me to try Flightstore. The lady on the telephone at Flightstore was superb, and my Zulu 2s were with me in a flash. In the end both Flightstore and AFE can look forward to my custom in the future.

Very comfortable and the ANR works incredibly. I don't use the FlightLink app though - if radio comms aren't clear I just ask for a repeat, so the feature is fairly useless. Could be good for non English speakers though.
