Great little product. Slow first battery charge(16 hours), but fine now. Only issue is that if anything it is a little complicated for a first receiver, but that is my fault, not the product. I maybe should have opted for a less sophisticated version as I'm only interested in AIR. I'm getting the hang of it now though.

As reported previously this radio takes a bit of fathoming out, and set-up instructions could be a little bit clearer. I am gradually getting to grips with it. If you want a radio to use straight from the box this may not be the radio for you. Also disappointed that there was no mains adapter included for charging, only a USB lead. Fortunately I have a camera charging plug that is compatible so no further expenditure required. Haven't used radio at an airfield yet, but picks up a bit of airways traffic whilst sat at home. May have to consider a roof aerial in the future to increase reception possibilities.

Once the instructions were figured out the device worked really well. Seeing my daughters 12 year old face when she heard her face plane transmission at the local airport was wondering. She has intentions of being a pilot for her career and this device is perfect for her to listen to the messages sent and received. The staff at the Flightstore have been really helpful in my choice as a Christmas gift for her. Answered all my questions and worries. Really happy with the device and long may it be her favourite gadget. Thanks again - recommend to anyone.
