“Looks very good but I was confused how to properly cover the end when it is exposed. I had the same problem with the edge of the stair nosing on an exposed stair. I have a staircase where all the stairs are adjacent to a wall except the bottom one, where only several inches are exposed.”

Hi Jim! When you have an exposed end on your quarter round or stair pieces, the best solution is to miter a return piece.
