“Raeburn offers much color diversity between the planks. It’s like an exploration in rich earthy browns. In my 3 samples, there’s quite a difference in light reflectivity, and the tonal quality ranges from a warm gold-honey brown, to a deep cooler chocolate brown. As with all flooret flooring, the texture matches the image nicely - not as pronounced as the wirebrush colors like Sutton, Arbor, Modin, Ashford, etc., but more textured than the smoother colors like Brenwick, Kingsford, Lato, etc. I really like the tonal diversity, texture, and what each plank offers, but the darkest plank may be a little too dark for my home as I enjoy utilizing as much natural light as possible and live in the Pacific Northwest.”
“I have not decided on which color to use, however I DO wish you had other sizes to pick from. While the 9" will look great in my Family Room, it may be a bit too wide for my hallway, so I have a dilemma.”
Hi Cindi! Thanks for the feedback. We recently introduced Modin Base in 6 colors. The Base model comes in 6" x 48" planks with a 20 mil wear layer and micro bevels (along with a couple of other changes). Modin Base is not available in Raeburn just yet but it may be in the future!
Also, we have customers install our Modin Signature 9" wide planks in small spaces all the time, especially hallways, and it looks great! If you want to see it for yourself before placing your full order, we'd recommend grabbing a few full-sized planks and seeing how they look in your hallway. You can also use our Room Studio tool to simulate a full installation. :)
