One suggestion is to remind customers that they should save their pallet for possible re use if there is a return. We disposed of ours after the initial delivery and should have held onto it for this purpose.

How would you rate the quality of this product? Could be better
The first Freight Return Kit I received was not correct. It only had one tie down strap, which was too long to be of use. My customer service representative then sent me a second, correct, Freight Return Kit and I and my wife were then able to properly package my items for return. A MAJOR shortcoming of these kits is the lack of instructions of how to properly package the flooring items for return. Would it be that difficult to include a piece of paper with the instructions on how to package the items being returned. As it was, the main Flooret web page orginally had the YouTube link for the packaging instructions BURIED several clicks deep under the FAQs area - then when the YouTube link was clicked, I was informed that the video had been taken down by Flooret, leaving me to guess how the package should be prepared. My customer service representative informed my, after viewing my pictures, that the packaging was incorrect, but she was not aware that Flooret had removed the YouTube video. My wife and I then had to unpackage everything and repackage according to the instructions (which were barely readable due to their small print size and our age, over 70) which Flooret posted in the BURIED location in place of the YouTube video link. Overall, I would rate the customer service representative a 5 star, but the rest of the return expelrience gave me the definte impression that Flooret doesn't really want product returned because of how hard it was to locate the return instructions on the web page. Really, who decided that return instructions should be BURIED under the FAQs? I and my son have web page design experience and the return instructions (to include the facta that Flooret prefers to have their materials returned on the same pallets that the material was received on) should be a tab on the Flooret HOME page. The only reason we could determine that the instructions were BURIED and were so incomplete was that Flooret really doesn't want material returned. Given the hiqh quality of the Flooret product and the excellent customer service, this return instruction fiasco and incorrect first Freight Return Kit, was a real indicator that Flooret is not prepared for returns. If this is not the case, then the web page designers need to make the return instructions more visible on the HOME page and the instructions MUST kbe complete, to include such key information as: Flooret pallets are the prefered return pallet; how to order a Freight Return Kit and what the kit will contain; readable size (with large line drawings showing each correctly completed step) packaging inscructions; and a step-by-step guide of how the return process wil work. Little details like insuring that the completed pallet is able to be reached by a pallet jack would be useful, merely stating that the completed pallet must be by the curb is not helpful since some communities may not allow the completed pallet to be stored on the curb, so insuring that the customer understands what is required for the pick-up driver to pickup the pallet would be helpful. We love the Flooret floors, but the return experience left a whole lot to be desired. This area, as it stands, is not reflective of the rest of the experiences we had dealing with Flooret. As a former ISO9001 Quality Management Systems Auditor, I can honestly state that this return process would not meet ISO9001 Quality Management Systems requirements.

One of the ratchet straps was bent and barely functional. Unfortunately there's no choice if you want to return, but Flooret should ensure they check their equipment before shipping it out.
