What are you mainly using your scooter for?
Local commutes and work
“Purchase about two weeks ago and have put ~200 miles on it. It’s very smooth and quick and was easy to pick up. I have been surprised as to how good of range it has with aggressive riding as well. Only complaint is not having regenerative breaking which is an upgradable option. Overall love the purchase”
“What an awesome scooter! This little unit flies down the road! It even passes some cars from time to time. Very fast, but also very stable and safe. Especially with the hydraulic brake upgrade. Highly recommended. FFR have been amazing with their communication, as well. Please do not hesitate to do business with this stellar company. They go to infinity, and beyond.”
“I own several scooters and have previously owned several more. I now have an Apollo Pro 60V hydraulic version and the newest as of now, the Apollo Phantom. The Phantom was touted as some new major advancement in scooters (I'm paraphrasing their hoopla marketing) but, though it has a few things like lights and turn signals integrated, it is clearly not a big "advancement" by any stretch. For one, the ride is not nearly as nice as the Pro. Additionally, the power on the Phantom does not match the Pro. Hill climbing on the Pro is clearly better despite it having dual 1200w motors like the newer Phantom. I don't know the motor specs, only they they both have dual 1200w motors and the Pro is faster with more torque. The Phantom is a good scooter but that is where it ends. I had display issues and throttle issues (very over sensitive throttle) at the beginning with the new Phantom and Apollo no longer sells or supports the Phantom and no longer provides a phone number to call them direct which, really sucks because I was sold on their "exceptional" 2 year warranty and "world class" support when I purchased the Pro a bit over a year ago. All support and basic communications goes through FFR now which is arguably worse than Apollo. The support is essentially non existent with them as well as FFR now. They answer their emails in a few days and almost never address my actual question which means I have to re-write my email with a better explanation and wait another 2 or 3 days for anothere half-assed answer. This is their support system and it is why I call it non existent. Because it pretty much is. I guess they figure if they just answer my emails, that means they have world class support. Getting issues solved is clearly unimportant to them, just pacify me with a stupidly brief and usually useless reply to my email, then hope I don't contact them back. I'm still waiting for my replacement display and an answer to solving the over-sensitive throttle (discussed by phone with FFR) and NOW I see they have a Phantom V.2. Is that the version that solves my 2 problems? Where's my solution for the problems that you know exist? Why does NOBODY get back to me with a solution? Ever! If I never call or email again, I will never hear from these people ever again unless they are trying to hoodwink me into buying something else. I don't know if they've grown too fast or are not making any money. I don't know that. I know how hard it is to keep a business going. I've been doing it for 25 years but I have never promised my customers something I cannot or will not deliver. FFR and Apollo do this on a regular basis. After $5 grand worth of scooters in which I am entirely on my own with when I have troubles.... from a company that promised me such amazing post purchase support, I am not only disappointed but it is with certainty that I tell you, I will look elsewhere moving forward. Both FFR and Apollo have lost me and any positive recommendations for their products and services.”
