Horizon Battery 48V 10.2 Ah Reviews

3.4 Rating 8 Reviews
I had to buy this replacement battery because the original one failed in < 100 mi of use. The proper shipping paperwork (Li+ warnings) was not attached. FedEX would not deliver the package.

My battery has been sitting in Florida for a few weeks because it’s missing a commercial invoice. I reached out to customer service they said they would handle it. Nothing was done. I reached out again and no one replied.

Hi Christopher, We are sorry to hear about the delays on your order. Upon checking our records, i noticed that our support team got back to you informing that they were working on submitting the commercial invoice. Unfortunately, there are new Canadian customs restrictions which are delaying the delivery process. We apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused.

The installation video on the Fluidfreeride website helped a lot. However, the battery was a different shape than the one I removed. Longer and narrower. However, there was a bunch of foam in the back of the scooter that I was able to remove, and the new battery fit fine. 1200 miles on my Horizon, and looking forward to 1200 more.

i bought a battery because i was told its what i needed on a product less than a year old. apprently batteries are not warrantied....but that neither here nor there because the battery i bought did not fix the problem. also, the design of this thing and the battery removal is hilariously complicated. its comical actually. jose with customer sercvice has been very nice and polite. i think i shoud get a new product to be made whole. johnny

We purchased a brand new scooter around 18 months ago. One of the reasons we purchased from this company was they had a service center located in Seattle which is where we live. After 18 months of owning the scooter and using it regularly, the battery died. It was not stored in freezing temperatures nor was it left unused for months at a time. Despite the scooter being only 18 months old, the company required us to purchase a brand new battery. And, because their service center had recently closed in Seattle, we were required to find a shop who would do the work for an additional fee. In the end, we had to spend almost as much on the brand new battery and labor then we did on the whole scooter. In this particular situation, we do not feel that the company was really looking out for the customer and we were disappointed.
