“Works well with the mantis v2, if you do end up having water ingress and a throttle replacement doesn’t work my suggestion is to get the control board first and if that doesn’t work a new controller is going to be needed, don’t know what was really wrong with it but the mechanics and Chuck have helped immensely. If you live in nyc or Florida where you can get to one of the shops go take it in so that you don’t mess with too many things on the scooter. The thing ran nearly 3000+ miles, found out that it was messed up after I brought it to the shop.”
“fluid sells the v2 mantis but neglects to tell you they are selling old stock v1 controllers that are completely worthless. i told fluid, there was no mention of the model. the guy told me they had 3 models. really? and no selection option? they refused to accept responsibility. told me to pay return shipping. i told them to stick it and bought the stuff cheaper on aliexpress because if i come to you and youre the mechanic but i end up knowing more than you? youre a fraud, and thats what fluid is, theyre just like guitar center. they have no idea about the products they sell. just a bunch of greedy, shy indian people who dont speak english, dont know their product and promise to call you back and never do. fluid sucks.”
“The controllers I ordered worked!!! Even though one of the casings on the controller was all scratched and looked used(it tested good with multimeter) unfortunately the customer service from a guy Named John was horrible!!! I received the scooter second hand from work (residential clean out) it was left and not working! Anyhow I asked John for a wiring Diagram for the controllers and to any possible mantis that they could go to, I also mentioned I got the scooter 2nd hand! He responded with what's the order number for the scooter: then I replied again with I got it 2nd hand and don't have that info: he's replay back was, what is the last owners first and last name (like really dude, ur not getting it) anymore I told him I felt like he's giving me the run around and his reply was : sorry we can't help you with out that information! All I needed was all if any wiring Diagrams for those specific controllers!! I will never do business with fluid free ride ever again and will be spreading the word every chance I get!!!!”
