“Basically an 8 pack of 18650's with a cheap board. When i got mine, it had a horrible racking sound coming from inside and the battery capacity was absolutely terrible. could barely charge my iphone.
ended up cracking the thing open and found 5 of the 8 cells came free from the bracket and the bracket is a simple nickel strip to align all 8 cells in parallel. Scrapped that, pulled the cells and board and repurposed it into my own battery pack.
Its deff not Fluid's fault as they simply stick their sticker on it and call it a day. The manufacturer/supplier of these packs has no QA/QC and it shows. Cheap products imported from Asia.
IMO just make your own.”
“I ordered an 8 cell and a 10 cell power bank and and had problems with both.
I think they need some time to work out the bugs. They buy them from another supplier and put their sticker on them so quality control is out of their hands. I sent them back for credit and I will buy another brand.
The 8 cell has some kind of rattle inside and I was afraid it would brake if it got dropped. They told me the rattle was normal. Also the second one I got wasn't package very well and it got shorted out.
The 10 cell did not work when it arrived.”
