The reason this kit exists is because Kaabo Wolf King GT (Specifically) Scooters have had, on rare occasions, caught fire. Fluid has acknowledged this via email, Voro knows, the world knows, this is common knowledge, im not giving away any secrets here. Anyway, having your scooter catch fire is extremely dangerous, obviously, and certainly more so if you park in your garage etc or other structure
The purpose of this kit is effectively to help prevent that from occurring, in the event of a short circuit or other occurrence which may cause the battery to fail, this will blow the fuse and save you. Kaabo did not install fuses from the factory, which is why this fuse add-on kit exists.
Now the good and bad of it - lets get the bad stuff out of the way first..
The Bad: The Manufacturer, Kaabo, made a mistake, they need to do better, and I can guarantee that they have scared off numerous aspiring customers just due to the fact that this is even a thing. Certainly in a very competitive marketplace where Nami and the Super 72 etc all exist.
The Good: Fluidfree (this company) was the first to market with this fix, Fluidfree is not at fault here, Kaabo is. I have nothing but good things to say about Fluid as a company and have had positive interactions with them, the problem is really just farther upstream.
