WideWheel Electric Scooter Seat Reviews

Seat is trash! Even a person they weighs less than 120# causes it to collapse down making the scooter very unstable. Have over 200 miles in my scooter and had a serious wreck trying to out. Do not waste your time. Returning it!

Hey I haven't installed my seat because the box came broken snd taped over. As a result I don't have the screws and such to install. I wrote an email and you guys were able to resolve it and send some over, but they haven't arrived yet.

no matter how tight the screws are, it still moves a bit. I had to add 1 washer underneath the stem to minimize it. the fast release turns the nut as well, making almost impossible to get a good tight.

Overall it's a fun accessory to have for my family to use. But there are a few things that I had to do to make it feel safe and to my liking. The post that mounts onto the WW uses a plastic sleeve that helps secure the seat post. Because of this, you'll get some slippage of the height. To resolve this, go to a bike store and get a carbon fiber grip that used for seatposts. Or a cheap method would be to get some bike grease and sand and line it within the scooter mounting post. The overall height is too low, even when it's at the max. And because of the suspension in the seatpost, the overall height will go even lower. To resolve this, I purchased an extended seatpost (450mm). As for the seat, I don't feel too confident of the overall design. Since the seat folds down toward the front of the scooter, the front end is secured by a hinge and the back by just a small hook. I got rid of the seat and replaced it with a proper bike seat. And because of the placement of the seat on the scooter, you'll notice that most of your body weight is towards the back. To compensate, you'll want to move slightly forward. So using just 1 of the 3 pieces, I give it a 2.5 stars since I had to invest more into it. YMMY
