“While my Inokim Light 2 is overall fast and easy to ride, there are 2 quite serious flaws. First, no shocks. I live in SoHo NYC, I typically scoot around SoHo, the West Village and Gramercy-East Village. NYC streets are shockingly bad, you feel EVERY bump with this scooter - if you live in a city with a very loose idea of what constitutes a smooth street, check out the Inokim Ox instead. I got the Light 2 specifically bc it folds up small enough to fit in my gym locker and for me that is worth the rough ride, but if I had it to do again I would see if I could find an ultra-portable from Inokim or another brand that also fits in the gym locker, the lack of shocks is truly teeth loosening. Otherwise fun to ride. SECOND: The REAR MUD GAURD breaks constantly, and while inexpensive to replace is an utter pain to replace. I'm talking truly awful to swap out the part, and because the brake light is intricately connected you can't even disconnect the broken mudguard bc it will be hanging on by the brake light wire. I literally have 2 rubber bands holding the broken mudguard to the scooter deck bc of the brake light wire, while I find the large amount of time required to disconnect the wheel, the motor, the side guards, take a paper clip and disconnect the pins holding the brake light to the interior connection, then put it all back again. THIS PART could easily be made of flexible rubber or hinged so it didn't break at all, OR it could be easier to replace. Instead it's cheap plastic, and ONE DIRECT HIT will snap it right off, again. I've bought 5 (FIVE) replacements at this point. You've been warned! Great scooter, but those are the two extremely serious flaws I'd take into consideration.”
