What are you mainly using your scooter for? commuting to / from work, shopping
I've had my Mantis V2 for 6 months. I primarily use it for commuting to / from work when heavy hauling is not required (also have a van). It is an upgrade from an older, slower, more portable scooter. Reason for upgrading: the previous scooter has no suspension with solid wheels, is hard on the back, and is much slower. This Mantis V2 scooter is smooth, comfortable, quiet, and blazingly fast. When it arrived, I was surprised at its size and pondered buyer's regret as it is not as portable as the oldie. After using it for 6 months, I now don't regret it. I had one problem with brake fluid losing pressure, as though there was air in the lines. One connection was not tight from the factory. After tightening all connections, refilling, and bleeding the lines, all was right again. One recent mishap - I tripped over the cord and broke the end. My bad! It was easy to replace, and customer support told me about changing the charging fuse. I have a mobile phone attachment, an extra pulsing headlamp, bicycle dash cam, and lock attached. I've added DOT C2 retroreflective tape just to personalize it. I've had countless people ask about it. All are surprised to know its top speed. (Of course, I always wear gloves and a helmet.) I've ridden in hot, cold, dry, rainy, snowy, and VERY windy conditions, and it is a complete joy to ride. My only regret is not buying it sooner. Next: try to attach a bicycle trailer! Can't wait!

What are you mainly using your scooter for? Fun/commuting
It's been really smooth, long lasting and fun. My life has become a lot more satisfying now that I can cruise around Seattle. Only issue is that folding my scooter and unfolding is a tedious process that is my least favorite part of bringing it to work.

What are you mainly using your scooter for? Commuting, transportation.
Lot's of power. Fun as all get out. I live in a suburban town with speed limits ranging from 20 to 40 miles per hour. This is now my primary mode of transport. I have no problem keeping up with traffic, pulling out into traffic is no longer a problem. Wear a helmet!

Love my MANTIS V2 - fluid Edition (24.54 Ah) . Not only is it fast , a greet hill climber, reasonably portable , pretty good offroad and has good range , but it's acceleration ,unlike most powerful scooters on the market, is very smooth. Not only is this a great scooter for experienced riders but because of how smooth it is , beginners can use it as well -Just make sure they keep it off of turbo(or you can slow it down with the P settings but I find it easier to put it on dual/eco and tell them to not mess with it- That way they will have the power to climb any hill but they will also have some protection against going too fast- I also have the regenerative breaks turned on.) I am a person who is hesitant to recommend anything , but if you are looking for the attributes I talked about above, this scooter is a great choice and may very well be the best choice on the market today. Important: This is the base model with sinewave controllers that make for extremely smooth acceleration -I would strongly advise against buying the Pro version unless you like twitchy throttles .

I got the Mantis 10 V2 but UPGRADED to the 24 amp battery for my needs (not the regular 17 amp it comes with otherwise). $400 upgrade. I was looking for a true 30/30. That is 30 MPH for 30 miles. If you can live with 20 mile range the 17 amp battery will get you there in style, upper 20's mph. I am 175, 75 degrees, and flat flat Phoenix. I rode it full throttle 3rd gear, Dual Motors, and Turbo. I hit 37mph. 35 to 36 mph is where it settled. Full throttle I got 23 miles and probably had enough for 2 or 3 miles more. So backing off to 30 mph I expect to actually get 30 miles!!! Awesome. Customer service over the Top. Thanks Adam and Tami, they went out off their way to make sure I was happy with my Fluid Scooter! Bravo!
