Placed order on Dec 12th. Reached out to support on the 20th as not received delivery receipt. Checked with gift recipient who confirmed they had not received cake delivery. Asked for a refund as concerned about the cakes not being in date. Was asked by Blackberry cottage if I could wait a few more days to see if the order would be delivered, was told order was sent 13 December. Baker said cakes in date, 20th of December, although would not disclose best before date when I requested it. Contacted support and Blackberry cottage fayre (cake makers) again as recepient is away for annual leave until the new year, if any cakes will be delivered at this stage. The cakes will definately be out of date, unless they are steeped in preservatives. No response at all, assuming support and blackberry cottage fayre have gone on annual leave and don't know how to use an out of office or put a disclaimer in their signatures stating upcoming closures. Unprofessional to say the least. Expecting a full refund on their return and sadly won't be able to recommend and support a small business as I had hoped to.
