This handcrafted African style djembe (gem-bay) drum evokes the wonderful spirit of drumming.The perfect size for children, a simple finger tap produces a wonderful sound. Can be played flat on the floor, between the knees, or tucked under an arm. It does have a small loop strap for carrying.Imported from Indonesia by a Fair Trade company, each unique piece features a hollowed, hand-carved mahogany base and stretched skin drum head. 4½"" top dia.; 7½"" high.
