I bought these as a gift. They are a great version of adult tools. I was very pleased when I received them. The 5 year old who got them loves them, but I understand that the hammer may have been put away until he can use it a little more safely. Some adult supervision and consideration of the child's abilities may be necessary.

This Stanley tool set for children is fantastic for any small person who wants to work with an adult and emulate their tasks with real tools. We gave this as a gift to a 3 year old who lives in an old house with regular projects going on around him, and he LOVES it! I can see that as he grows up these sturdy, real tools will be used by his younger sisters as well. Truly an excellent gift for any child who likes to manipulate tools and wants to be involved in the project.
