“I ordered these soap because I wasn't happy with the soap I had been buying for a year. I love the fact that each bar of soap I use stops me from buying soap in plastic bottles! However each bar of these soaps was individually wrapped in plastic with no mention of its recyclability! Bonkers. It is 2024! When will we get serious about plastic? I bought these French bars of soap because I wanted a bit more scent than I was buying. I'm very pleased with them. I've started using the "olive" bar and it is really nice. The next downside is that no mention of a first time buyer's 10% discount came until I had made my first purchase. I think that's a bit mean spirited and I will look elsewhere before buying again.”

Bonjour Peter, Thanks for your order and your reply. We are surprised by your comments; the copy in the description of "Exfoli-eight" and the description for every individual soap bar from this brand states "they are individually wrapped in cellulose, fully compostable, packaging". The cellulose wrap also states on it that it is compostable. We have some customers that love unwrapped soaps, we have many that prefer wrapped soaps. We offer unwrapped, cellulose wrapped and cardboard boxed soaps to suit various preferences and requirements. Wrapped and Unwrapped are both 'search filter' options too. We do not stock plastic wrapped bar soaps, we do stock liquid soaps in PET bottles. The first time you visit our site there is a pop up offering a new customer discount. It's not a recurring pop up as the feedback from customers was that they found that annoying. There is a small icon to click on bottom left of your screen, as is standard, for any new customer to use at any time. If you have any further concerns then do get back to us. FS
