“My title sums it up! Each shower starts with a gorgeous scent (that lasts nicely into the day) but not enough lather and seems too watery. I like a thicker soap that lathers well”

Hi Karen, thanks for your review. Our soaps will never lather much. Lather is formed through a few circumstances: 1) the hard/softness of the water where you live will make a significant difference for any soap regardless of whether it is from us or elsewhere. 2) the plant oils in our liquid soaps are soft oils, not designed to lather, they are used to gently and deeply cleanse with out stripping any natural oils or moisture from your body. 3) There are no chemical or synthetic additives in any of our products. Most readily available liquid soap products, including shampoos and laundry liquids, contain synthetics such as Sodium Laureth Sulfate. These are added to create 'lather'. However, in the example of this ingredient, it is also a 'drying' ingredient hence liquid soaps in general having bad press for drying out your skin. Many products then use extra chemical ingredients to counteract the side effects of the 'lather' ingredient! We do not stock any products with such ingredients. Lather also uses more water and more product so a 'lathery' soap will last on average 60% less time than one without lather additives. In summary, none of our soaps, shampoos or laundry products will give a 'good' lather, we stick to natural ingredients that are good for the skin. If you have any questions then do come back to us.

“Unfortunately the cap on the bottle was open and a lot had seeped through during transit. It smelled nice using it. Also the parcel smelled nice due to the contents all over it.”
