“I find these loofahs, which are a vegetable gourd husk, a more than adequate alternative to the synthetic sponges I used to use. They make a nice foam and clean dishes well. They also rinse and dry out really quickly, so no damp smelly clothes lying on drainer. These are now my new washing up cloths, because they are soft enough to clean dishes and pots but just enough friction to scrub away any baked on stuff. Very good value they last longer then you would think. They biodegrade too, being purely of vegetable origin.”
