“I got the Buddy XL for end of year teacher gifts. I asked the teachers what their favorite beverages were and if it was cans or bottles they preferred. They all said bottled soda. I purchased them each a 6 pack of their favorite sodas and trialed them all to make sure they fit (Dr. Pepper, Wild Cherry Pepsi, and Diet Mountain Dew all fit). Hopefully they will use them to keep their beverages cold throughout the summer and when they go back to school so no more warm sodas because the kids distracted them.”
“cheap plastic insert, not metal like my other frost buddy, does not fit bottles or cans that I buy in a 6 pack or greater, if it was made for drinks sold at a convenience store I wouldn't know because it will not fit in any cup holder so I d not carry it around outside.”

The Universal Buddy XL did not come with an insert. When trying to fit any type of can or bottle, there was either too much headroom or too little. Not sure how this thing is supposed to work. Company promised to ship the missing inserts, but have not heard back since this promise was made a week ago.”
