“I am impressed with this printer! It was bought to upgrade from my 1250 to a colour laser that did duplex. We have a colour laser in my wife's study - a 4040 - and the 9020 gives much better colour. For example, when printing maps from Google, it clearly shows the light colours, whereas the 4040 gives a washed-out unusable image whatever settings we use. I feared I'd lose the straight-through path printing I've got on the 1250 (useful for envelopes and thin card that you don't want bend round into the output tray) but the 9020 has that too. The ability to copy several page at a time through the feeder on top is also getting well used and the warm up to first print is better than the 1250 or the 4040. Negative points - the software for image scanning to file or OCR take a bit of finding your way around and I guess the running costs when it comes to replacement toner cartridges was always going to be an investment. And, yes, it is bulky - but again, I knew it would be. But I am happy to ditch my Inkjet and leave the 1250 as backup. The inkjet refused to use ink cartridges that it decided were out-of-date and unlike the inkjet, toner cartridges don't dry up when not used for a while. I'm really happy to leave ink printing behind.”

“I was originally reluctant to use Re manufactured Inks for my printer. I bought these for the office computer at work, as I could bare spending so much money on brand new cartridges all the time (we were printing a lot). These cartridges produce the same quality print as the originals! and they seem to last longer too! I now always buy my cartridges from Cool Toner. The printer recognises the cartridges are not original, however this honestly doesn't matter, The printer still shows the remaining amount of ink, which is the main thing people want from the cartridges. PROS: Last ages Great print quality Ink Levels CONS: Difficult to persuade people that they are perfectly good to use!”
