“I've had this printer for about 4 years now and it's been great. I have it set up in my hallway and it's connected via ethernet, I often printer from my desktop via wireless and it's always been good The ability to scan multiple sheets from the scanner to my PC, is just great I don't often use the printer but it's sat in the hall in powersave mode, so I'm not concerned about the power usage. I'm still unsure as to whether it should be turned off between uses, but some people have said everytime you do that, it has to charge the drum? with toner, thus it wastes toner. Printing ability has always been very good, I tend to use the "posh" laser paper, but am currently using the cheap stuff and it works equally as well. It has a very detailed web interface which is awesome The only downside? like most printers, if a single toner cartridge runs out, it will stop printing, even if it's a colour one, you can't do black printing until you replace the colour one, hence the 4 stars.”
