“This product has a lighting sensor inside to recognise when the level of waste toner reaches at certain level. However, for any reason, if the printer/waste toner bottle is shaken or dropped down while it has some waste toner inside, the moved toner may cover the lighting sensor and it triggers a signal for the printer to stop working. So, when you replace your drum unit, or when any paper is jammed inside of your printer, you need to be careful if you have to remove the waste toner bottle especially when it has a lot of waste toner inside. Never leave it lied down on the floor nor dropped down. Gently remove and leave it somewhere securely and keep standing position during the job and put the bottle back gently. If you understand how the waste toner bottle sensor works, you may suck the waste toner using your vacuum cleaner when it says to replace the toner bottle, and clean the lighting sensor using cotton stick, then it will start working again. In this case, you will need a good protection for your health. Good dust mask, vinyl glove and good vacuum cleaner would help. The waste toner bottle does not have any page counter, so, it may work for under 7k pages or above 10k pages completely depends on what type of documents/images you print.”
