“UPDATE: Adding a star, and a picture for the guy asking about key colors. The extra star is due to the second one I ordered, still working to this day. Came without having to be smacked into action and other than the paint coming off the keys so that it's no longer possible to read the keycap (they could all be blank for all I care I don't need to see them, but it is a potential quality issue for those that do) there have been no issues. Since I kept the original keyboard, I recently swapped over the colored keys and the X key as that had lost its paint completely. Original Review: Looks really good for the money, standard membrane keyboard and feel. Key edges not as smooth as they could be, get used to this fast though. Keys do indeed have a choice of 3 colours, not remembered (each time restart or unplug have to rechoose, but I liked the red best so not an issue for me). The lighting was bright, again this could be turned down, looked really good in the dark, all the keys glowing a deep red and easily readable. Really looks nice. Don't need ANY of that though, i just needed a USB keyboard with a disable windows key, which this does. Longevity is an issue. Not sure if it's because they posted with no packaging whatsoever, but mine came not working. Plugging in, it would light up and windows would tell me "USB device not recognized". Tested on another machine, same thing. Unplugged it, turned it over, gave it a short sharp smack with full palm in the centre and plugged it in again. Worked great until today, no amount of smacking reversed it. Disassembled and flicked the IC on the little board, and sure enough it took off again, only however until it was unplugged. Got it going one more time before the little wires where soldered to the board came apart. Loved it for the money while it worked. Not sure whether to risk getting a replacement (pretty sure post office will charge almost as much to return it) or try something else.”
