I've previously used a similar Arkon mount (that also mounts to the headrest but doesn't have the long arm) but with more kids in the back it was time to position the tablet (in this instance a Tesco Hudl 2) in the middle of the seats. I was initially worried - the Hudl 2 is of a size which means that the tablet is held at the sides, rather than top and bottom, and I was concerned that it would eventually slip out. However, having used this for a number of long trips, from smooth French autoroutes through not so smooth French local roads, it's held the tablet strongly. It also has the benefit of having small rubber 'plugs' that you add to the corners which stop the feet from slipping out, something that was a problem on the previous mount (which would result in much swearing when a foot would pop out when trying to put the tablet in). One point I will point out - if you've smaller kids in the back, and the front seat passenger needs to occasionally lean into the back to sort something out, tell them to mind their head. The knurled knob that tightens the angle of the mount is in just the right place to gouge you on the forehead (as my wife can attest to.)
