“I've got two young children so this was bought to use with a tablet to keep them both entertained when on long car journeys. I choose this style as it mounts on one headrest only (my other half and I have our seats in very different positions both in terms of back/forward adjustment and height, so a bracket which attached to both would perhaps not have worked as well) and then extends out so that the tablet can be positioned equidistant between the two seats. It can be swivelled so that the front passenger can put something else on for them to watch relatively easily when the car is in motion without needing to completely disengage the tablet from its holder. The bracket that attaches to the headrest can also be left in position once fixed on without getting in the way day to day. My only slight negative comment is that I bought the version which suits 8" tablets (I have an 8" Galaxy S2) and presumed this meant it would hold the tablet top and bottom when in landscape format when in fact the aperture is too wide to do this; it does indeed fit an 8" tablet but held in portrait orientation - so for watching films etc it needs to be rotated 90 degrees. Although the holder grips the tablet very firmly and it can be angled every which way to get the best viewing position, I would prefer to have the clasps at the top and bottom of the tablet for added security and peace of mind.”
