The engine 'Stop' switch is very badly positioned and it is extremely easy to accidentally switch it off when it brushes against your clothing or the hedge you are trying to cut.
The Hyundai Long Reach hedge trimmer is very heavy and the harness mounting ring is not positioned at the correct balancing point, which makes it quite unwieldy and quite difficult to use for any length of time.
The red, quick-release safety pull-tag on the harness is very annoying too. It works most of the time but every now and then, it just decides to detach itself, for no apparent reason.
Hyundai need to work on these issues, as they are spoiling what is otherwise a competitively priced, half-decent machine for the money.”
