“This lens is a great match for the full frame Canon R series cameras. Though not very bright it gives good results when imaging wildlife in good light. Sharpness is good out of the camera but benefits from a bit extra in post. For less than $1000 it compares well with lenses costing three times as much. It really needs a lens hood though and Canon's item is almost 10% the cost of the lens. There is an opening for a clever retailer there.”
