“This bed does what I wanted it to do spacially within the room and I am happy in that regard, unfortunately though the finish is not what I expected, there was a dent and a scratch on of the headboard panels and places where the varnish was not applied as carefully as I would have expected resulting in unsightly blobs and drips. Overall the bed does not give the impression as a crafted handmade item, there was no friction fit - all of the tennon joints are somewhat loose with zero friction - no need for a mallet. None of it is handmade at all - it is clearly all machined which is not the impression that is given on the website and by the update emails sent by the company on the progress of the bed making process. It was well packaged and arrived on time but in hindsight I would not order this bed again and feel slightly aggrieved considering how much I paid for it, I will be in touch with Getlaid beds regarding this.”

“It's a nice bed frame. It takes a lot of time to assemble, way more than any of the decriptions indicate. The bed frame creaks, I suspect this is to do with the self assemble and if it was manufacture assembled it would not creak. Kind of wish I had gone with a pre-assembled supplier as the Get Laid Beds Customer Service is not responsive.”

“Utter trash. Slats too short Not enough screws sent Pilot holes in wrong place Screws not long enough to hold headboard in place Bed creaks beyond anything you could imagine. Tried to charge me for collection after already paying for delivery and wasting time putting together”

“The bed looks good, but is very squeaky when moving on the mattress, and there weren't any clear instruction on how it went together. The head board is a little loose at the topas though the screw doesn't tighten enough. A little disappointed considering how much was paid.”

“Had some missing parts on delivery, replacements were sent a few days later. The suggested screw lengths for the headboard are not really long enough for the wood thickness so the bottom slat, where the tapered leg is thickest, falls off quite easily. Otherwise rest of joinery seems okay. Probably would not buy from here again though.”

“We are very satisfied with our bed. The construction is reassuringly simple and stress-free involving the use of Phillips head screws and an electric screwdriver/drill instead of awkward Allen keys and IKEA Design features. It is the first bed where we have actively felt the support that it offers during the sleep and it makes a huge difference. You drive the screws into the wooden frame itself meaning you can absolutely trust them compared to the usual fold out design which gives practically nothing. You can smell the wood and the statement headboard is stunning. The value compared to mostly inferior beds in the same price bracket especially when on sale is unbeatable. This is all rounded off with an 11 year guarantee. I have taken the time to write this as as a business owner I understand the value of reviews and products of real quality and value are too few and far between.”
