“Very pleased with it ! We went for the European King (which is 10cm wider than the UK King) and we also got a new European King mattress. At first I was worried - it looks like the mattress was going to sit literally on top of the frame rather than within. But after a few days the mattress slotted in in a very tight fit, which Get Laid Beds do mention their beds are. I actually enjoy that tight fit, as it means the bed linen doesn't keep escaping during the night, and everything stays well tucked in. Just a note: the London and Oxford are the same bed, but the Oxford has a 10cm taller headboard (85cm if memory serves). This is explained in Get Laid Beds' FAQ, but worth mentioning here as we nearly got the London before realising the lower headboard profile.”

“Great bed once it is completed, unfortunately it takes a long time to screw it all together. Only some of the pieces come pre-drilled, it was extremely difficult to screw into the non pre-drilled wood (even when it is soft wood and using an electric screwdriver).”
