“Beautiful hat.
Size S/M (head measures right at 57 and I have thick hair so I straighten it as flat as possible).
I was deciding between the Monroe Rancher, Zephyr, Dakota Triangle, and Luca (which all have similar measurements of a 10.5” crown and 8-10” brim). I chose the Luca because I wanted a black hat and felt like this one had a little more character with the pencil brim (Amelia Pencil Brim would have also been a good choice but it didn’t come in black). I’m more modest in the sizing of my hats so I didn’t want a tall/deep crown.
One thing I was surprised about was the stiffness of the hat. It’s lightweight but solid stiff. I had to consult a friend if this was normal and to my surprise, it is! This is my second GIGI PIP hat but my first felt hat from them.
