My head measured 56cm, but I decided to buy the XS (55cm) because I like to wear my hats halo style. I found the hat runs a tad large as it's still roomy on my head, but with the adjustable inner band it fits perfectly.
The Monroe is on the firmer side, I was expecting it to be a little softer but it holds its shape even when on your head which looks more stylish. I also purchased this in brown and the colour is just lovely!
