“4 stars for hat.
Nice hat but it arrived completely damaged! I reached out directly to them as their website instructed and have yet to hear back from them. I would like to exchange the hat but am unable to because I can’t get the return label in order to do so.
Otherwise, hat is nice, sizing S/M worked for me, and the material is flexible but keeps the hat structure without being too flimsily (although it didn’t withstand shipping in this case.)
Would order again if I ever hear back from them.
UPDATE:
Customer service reached out to me in response to the damaged hat. They sent a new hat and this was a hassle free transaction (yay!). The new hat arrived without any damage. Comparing the hats, the straw is much softer on the first one than the second one. The second hat is super stiff but in a good way. It holds its shape and is still comfortable. Not sure why the first one is so different than the second one but I’m happy they responded and I was able to get a replacement.”

We do our best to make sure that our hats ship out in excellent condition. We mark the boxes as fragile + wrap them separately to help in the shipping process. “I ordered both the S/M (57) and M/L (59). When I measured my head, I was right at 57cm. I ended up keeping the S/M (57) because it fit perfectly - snug enough when I pulled it lower for the beach & looser when I want to set it towards the back/top of my head. I wore this all weekend in Santa Barbara - love the coverage from the sun. There are small holes in the weaving, but it doesn't take away from the sun protection.”
“It’s a very nice hat but it’s not a sun hat. It has holes which allow the sun to shine on my face and neck. I didn’t notice that detail online. Very well packaged but would expect no less for the price.”
