“I used Glam Corner for the first time for a formal event and I am so glad that I did. The dress fit me perfectly and I felt beautiful in it. I received so many compliments on the night and people wanting to know where I bought the dress. I was almost reluctant to tell them as I want to keep Glam Corner all to myself. The dress is perfect for a black tie/formal or even a cocktail event. It’s very flattering and slimming and a classic and elegant style. I was concerned about exposing my arms, as I don’t really like them, but the cap sleeve definitely made my arms look a lot slimmer then they are. Not being very tall (167cm) I found this dress pretty much the right length with normal sized heels. Just be wary that the sequins under the arm can be a little irritating, but a small price to pay for feeling glamorous, especially since I didn’t need to wear a strapless bra or ‘suck in’ undies, so I guess it was a trade off. I would highly recommend this dress and will be definitely hiring it again for any future formal events.”
“This dress was perfect for an evening at a formal business awards event. I felt very glamorous and received many compliment, even from my Uber driver! I hired the size 16 and had the 14 as back-up. I went with the 16 as it was a bit more comfortable around the arms and more forgiving around the tummy. I found it true to size, but it is stretchy if you wanted a tight fitting. Good push-up bra is a must.”
“The dress is beautiful unfortunately where the beaded work was on the arms made it very uncomfortable and it was just a wee too long for me so couldn't wear it for where u was going to and had to return the dress.”
