“This dress was my chosen hire piece for a recent wedding, and despite it being an elegant cut and luxurious silk material, I went with my back up piece-a burgundy Aje Cascade Cut Out dress-because the waist tie is fixed at the back, so I wasn't able to make it sit at my natural waist, which was higher than the fixed tie sat at. This resulted in an excess fold of material under the bust that didn't flatter my body shape. A shame because I loved the colour, feel and cut of the dress. The gathered sleeves are quite long so to elevate this piece, choose statement shoes and a pair of drop or hoop earrings with an updo to distinguish this dress from a luxurious dressing gown. I'd recommend that you wear a seamless G-string as well, if you're anticipating bending over or sitting. I'd wear to a future wedding if GlamCorner stocked a size 12. Runs slightly large, I'm a reliable size 14.”
