The material was a bit worn around edges and the front split has been mended but I aired it for 2 days and pressed it and it came up great! Overall very glad I chose it.”

“I rented this dress for a formal occasion with work. This particular dress is “not available for the try on service” so I rented a back up dress for $15 just in case.
Firstly, this dress runs small. The back up dress was the same size by the same designer (Grace & Heart) & was a lot bigger on me. The back up dress was also a lot longer as this dress was quite short on me (the train did not even touch the ground)!
Secondly, the material is nothing special. This dress retails for $400... I would not pay over $150 for it. Again, the back up dress material was significantly better & quite stunning.
Thirdly, due to the material & the obvious amount of times the dress had been previously worn, there were parts of the dress that would just not sit right, even after trying to iron them flat. The lace detail around the neck, arms & in the front split.
I was concerned about not being able to wear a bra with dress as I am a natural E cup & this dress is backless. I ended up taping my boobs with sports tape - you tube it, it really works!
All that being said, the overall hire service is a top idea! I have a wardrobe full of dresses I have purchased for a special occasion & never worn again. I would absolutely use this service again however the advertised “try on service” is important to me & was disappointed that the dress I chose was “not available for this service due to popularity”. I would have chosen another dress due to fit & the material, if I had the chance to try on first.
And lastly, another girl at my event was wearing the same dress in navy blue, she had also rented from Glam Corner. Would there be an opportunity to have a register of events to mittens gate this happening?”
