“I wore this for my firm's legal dinner at Customs House. The high neck line is very flattering and the emerald colour is beautiful for Winter with a dark red lipstick and black shoes / clutch. I am 163cm tall and I have had trouble in the past with dresses being too long, but with (fairly) high heels and the shorter front section this was the perfect height. This dress and my backup dress came early so I had plenty of time to try both on and choose between them. I wore the size 8, which it fit great and with heels, wasn't too long. The only slight negative - it is a little tricky to sit down in (as mentioned in some other reviews). “I rented this dress over the weekend for a university ball. This is my fifth year attending the ball and I have never felt so confident or glamorous in my outfit as this year, thanks to Glam Corner. I had never hired a dress before but after reading a lot of reviews it seemed like the process was faultless... and it was! The dress came about a week earlier than expected so I could get lots of opinions between this and my back up dress (which is the best thing ever for only $15 extra), glam corner sent me heaps of reminder emails about when to post the dress back, and the pre-paid postage bag was provided so dropping it back in the mail was a breeze - no dry cleaning required.
As others have mentioned the dress is very fitted but I didn't notice any real restrictions on the dance floor! The material is quite thick without any stretch so it smooths you out in all the right places. I am usually an 8-10 but the 8 fit like a glove.
