“I rented this gown as my backup for this weekend’s black tie ball and ended up wearing this instead of the Marchesa gown in wine. This gown was much more fancy than the Marchesa (although it was nice too, just the fabric wasn’t as fancy). It arrived a day before expected. I had to tack up the hem by two inches because it was very long but the sequinned fabric didn’t show it at all. Because I wore it floor length I could use the shoes I had, and only needed to buy earrings and a bracelet because of the high neckline. I bought a length of navy georgette fabric and hemmed it as a wrap which worked really well (although I forgot to take a photo of that). I loved that the dress was so comfortable and flattering and I didn’t have to be self conscious in it.”
