“I rented this dress for an outdoor wedding and it was perfect! I knew the dress was going to be tight (I sized down as a sit between sizes) but I had no difficulties getting the waist zipped up but was very tight in the chest due to the design of the dress. I don’t have a huge chest but without some super taping I would have been very conscious of the amount of boob on show all day due to how long the straps were and still found myself pulling up the chest area a lot.
I’m 5’4 and I felt the dress was perhaps a little too long on me but overall I still loved it and would wear again (next time in a size 10).

“I rented this dress for a wedding. The dress itself is absolutely beautiful. The bodice part fit well, however due to the thicker fabric the skirt flairs quite a lot from the waist. On a taller person this would look lovely, but because I am quite short (160cm) it meant that the wider skirt finished a few inches above my ankle which just didn’t look right no matter how big a heel I put on! I ended up returning it and hiring a different Self Portrait dress which fit absolutely perfectly. Customer service was wonderful organising my return and getting the second dress to me on time.”

“I ordered this for a wedding. When it arrived I was a little shocked to see it was navy, not black (even though it looks black in the photo). I’m usually a size 10 but ordered the 12 as I was told by GC to go up a size.... in the end I should have ordered a 10. The beige material underneath is stretchy, so even if you are a couple of cms over in your measurements, you’d be able to fit your normal size perfectly. It is a heavy dress, and does kick out from the waiste, so it does make the hip area seem bigger than it is. I wouldn’t recommend for petite, athletic, tall body types. I didn’t end up wearing it to the wedding which was disappointing.”
“This was my first time renting with GlamCorner. I rented this one as my main dress, and a backup one just in case. As I was a bit insecure about sizes, I decided to go to a physical store to try different Self Portrait dresses on. After I learned my size would 100% be an 8, I was confident about hirering.
This dress is somewhat heavy, nothing to worry about though. It is beautiful and the top part fits perfectly! The pockets are just soo handy too. I am 170 and normally wear 8!
