“The pattern is lovely and the dress is beautifully made. Ordinarily the fit and flare style suits my hourglass shape, but this did not. Sizing - quite a big make. A combination of factors meant this was less than flattering on hips - waist sits slightly lower than true waist, fabric feels like a thick cotton, skirt pleating creates volume and dress is quite long on 167cm frame.”
