“I rented this for a smart/chic work Christmas party. The dress was absolutely beautiful to look at - well made, lovely thick fabric, and an interesting pattern. I ordered a size 10, which according to the sizing chart for the dress should have fitted. It would have fitted perfectly if not for my broader back (thank you, years of sport). It was fitting fine until the join in the fabric around the ribs, then when it was just over we couldn't get it any further, and obviously did not want to push it. I think it runs true to size but is just not made for girls with a broader chest! Such a shame :(
I would therefore recommend to others with broad backs looking to hire the dress to either go up a size or pick something else not so fitted across the back/chest to avoid disappointment!”
