I had wanted this sharpening steel for years and finally treated myself, spending nearly $200. Excited to receive it, I checked tracking when it took longer than expected—only to find it had been marked as delivered. When I reached out to Global, they sent me a photo of the package on my doorstep as proof of delivery.
Reviewing my security footage, I saw the delivery person had tossed the package onto the porch from several feet away, failing to trigger our camera. They didn’t ring the doorbell, and Global never sent a delivery confirmation, leaving the package unattended for hours. Unsurprisingly, it was stolen.
When I contacted Global, they told me to notify local authorities (which led nowhere) and file a FedEx claim (also fruitless). As a loyal customer for the better part of a decade, I’m left with nothing but frustration and a loss of nearly $200. Global’s lack of accountability and poor customer service have cost them a customer who once proudly recommended their products. I hope they improve their policies, but I won’t be back.”
