“I am not a chef but do like good functional knives which this is. I haven't used it much , but it is definitely a very nice knife. It seems a little heavy but maybe thats a good thing. I will be purchasing a smaller Global knife too. My congratualtions to Global in their packaging, decent, informative and not excessive. That indicates a manufacturer who is confident in their product. Overly designed, glossy printed packaging that costs more than the product is a telltale to an inferior product. I also liked the brief instructions on how to sharpen .”

“Arrived razor sharp, and is holding its edge.
Firmer and a little heavier than the stamped version, without being too heavy.
Absolutely worth the extra cost.
I was suspicious of the dimpled grip.
It took some getting used to, especially when wet, but I got comfortable in a few days.
Outstanding chopping, rocks nicely.
Already my favorite knife. Very satisfied.”
