UKON 6" Serrated Utility Knife Reviews

4.7 Rating 3 Reviews
Read Global Cutlery USA Reviews

A utility knife is a medium-sized, multipurpose kitchen knife designed to bridge the gap between a paring knife and a chef's knife. It is ideal for tasks that require more precision than a larger blade but more length than a small paring knife. Utility knives excel at trimming, slicing smaller fruits and vegetables, cutting sandwiches, and handling medium-sized ingredients that are too large for a paring knife but too small for a chef's knife. The serrated edge is ideal knife for slicing salami, sausage, avocados and small soft or hard-crusted bread. GLOBAL UKON is the perfect synthesis of Japan's knife-making heritage, modern design and superior performance. Details like a dual surface handle, an ambidextrous thumb rest and a thicker blade with a noticeably sharper edge are indications of UKON's technical innovation. The knife edge is 10% sharper than any other collection we've released out of the box based on internationally recognized C.A.T.R.A testing.

Knives are not designed for heavy, day-to day use. WE have several of their knives with blemishes after less than one year of use and the company said that type of damaged is not covered by the warranty.
