“One pale oatmeal coloured flat block of solid soap which is beautifully packaged in olive green paper and cardboard box arrived. The Yoku brand is from Bristol in the UK and the soap is handmade in the UK - doubly good. I like that it is free from parabens and contain lots of natural ingredients such as, shea butter and coconut. This 100g bar has a gentle lavender scent with a touch of sandal wood - very pleasant. It is fine to use on my sensitive skin. This is a low lather soap and leaves your skin feeling clean but, not stripped.”

“This is a lovely soap. Comes wrapped in paper and you can smell the soap through the packaging. Very citrusy. Lathers well once you get it going, it cleans well, leaves my skin soft, and its natural. I will keep buying it but will try other varities in the range.”
“Update: I contacted the seller as the soap i received had no scent. They said it shouldn't be & might just be an odd one, they kindly sent me 2 replacements! They have a very beautiful natural but subtle scent. It is certainly not strong but it is very lovely. I've recently converted back to soap, as it's become modernised & really lovely scents are available (as well as variety) plus more & more natural ones. I often buy natural ones, especially made with essential oils such as this one was supposed to be. Further plastic bottles are bad for the planet, my bf uses 1 bottle of shower gel a week!!! I loved the credentials of this soap: Zero Plastic Waste Handmade in Scotland 100% Natural Vegan friendly Palm Oil free Chemical free cold-pressed I got the lavender & Patchouli (I love Patchouli) but I get zero scent on them! But the replacement smells lovely. It's a natural scent but not very strong notes of lavender. However, it feels very nice to use. Scent is pretty important for me in the shower, as it adds to the pleasure & affects your mood; especially natural scents. They affect mood & emotional health. As for cleansing, it foams & cleanses really well. Compared to other natural soaps I've tried, this one foams much nicer & cleansing much better. It feels soft & gentle on the skin (not drying). Plus it feels much more natural. The one I got was red & the replacement one is yellowish beige. The seller said the colours vary widely from batch to batch. I think what it was that Amazon has an old batch that had lost it's fragrance.”
“Although I recieved a different scent to what I ordered, the soap itself is beautiful really leaves a great scent on your skin without drying out your skin. I dont mind paying extra for a handmade product from a small business. The packaging is also sustainable so another plus point.”
“This handmade soap is quite nourishing and easy to use. It doesn't make my hand or body dry after using. The soap is enriched with lavender and patchouli essential oil which gives me a relaxing feeling. It has a hint of scent, not strong but pleasant. A great alternative of shower gel or liquid hand soap. It does a good job in cleaning and leave you a soft skin. I do like it.”
