“It was okay. The hotels we stayed in were very good to outstanding. The major attraction was the gorge, however it was closed do a dangerous condition related to storm debris. The weather the first couple of days was wet and dreary, and the scenary (absent the gorge) was nothing to write home about. By Wednesday, the scenary, the roads we travelled, had become much more attractive and picturesque. Glad I had an eBike. Kenji our guide, originally from Japan and lived the past 7 years in Taiwan, was dilligent and efficient. However, his personality was such that he seemed to answer without listening. Perhaps it was the language barrier? Other than running the tour, he wasn't charming and forth coming about about local culture, politics, etc. as other Grasshopper guides have been. Lastly, I think I would hesitate recommending this tour because in many ways it was almost self-guided. Unlike other Grasshopper tours where the guide(s) would ride along side and and support van would be near enough to call for emergency support or for a tired/injured rider(s) to enter, this tour did not have such support. Fortunately, we had no mechanical issues with the bikes, no one was injured or sick, all riders could meet the physical challenge. But, what if something had gone wrong......”

“Your Bike Taiwan tour was great with a good balance of cycling and sightseeing, and our guides Kenji and Mandy were very friendly and helpful. Stone Party was only 2 star accommodation, also breakfast was basic and they don't offer Lunch or Dinner. On the plus side, Caesar Park Hotel and everything else at Kenting were great.”
