“As wth my other 4 GH trips, the support staff was excellent- reliable and safe. I should have chosen pedal assist to tackle the coastal territory and wish we had spent more time at beaches,but I appreciated the guide initiating connection with the people and culture. Simpler accomodation then other trips. If the itenary were reversed, I could have recovered from jet lag in Phuket first, and flew home from Hua In.”

“The ride was well organized and ablely led. Bikes and accommodations were excellent. Some really great stops at temples and farms and fishing villages. Food was mostly quite good. I was disappointed that we had to bike too much of the time on busy roads and saw little of the Adaman Sea Coast. Biking distance were good but the shuttle rides were often long.”

“The bike ride was great mainly due to the superb attention spent on us by our guide Toby and the support driver Mr Long ( not his real name but a substitute because his real name was very long ). Both gentlemen were informative, conscientious and responsive to our needs which included medical attention as we both caught a cold on the way to Thailand. We went in July and I would probably do it at a cooler time of the year for Thailand. We also caught a private tour of Phuket and Bankock which are typically busy cities so it was good to peddle through the off road rural areas and experience the way of life non city, rural Thai.”

“Hi the tour was was great we had good accommodation every night excellent. Summary tour was good from organised perspective but what took this trip to another level was Woody and his team. My 4th trip to Thailand and I have come back home with a totally different view and understanding Thailand and culture in lus amazing food Well done to woody and his team it’s was magic”

“Our trip was outstanding! We loved the Thai countryside and seaside. My new favorite meal is coffee break with fun warm drinks, smoothies, fresh fruit and Thai confections. The accommodations were comfortable- even the crazy yurt!!! Our guides and drivers were the best and made the trip very special.”

“I have been a cycling enthusiastic for over 4 decades and have gone to many and various types of organized bicycle rides. I was told about this particular ride some time ago and have finally taken it. There are a bunch of tour companies that provided this route. However we chose the Grasshopper tour because they included a hiking, canoeing and also a boat excursion on the tour. As expected, the spectacular views of the Gulf of Thailand was amazing. Grasshopper had assigned our tour leader (Seen) who was an excellent English translator and had taken great care of the entire group of riders. Our leader and the support team had kept the group out of any traffic dangers and well hydrated. Most importantly, constantly checking on everyone regarding our ability to continue as some of the route can be very challenging. Many thanks to Grasshopper and team for handling all the logistics to getting there and for a great ride, looking forward to future rides. Bob C.”
