“Just loved it - the guides were amazing patient and a really great bunch - the only real feedback is - there was a lot of food - it would have nice to have maybe the every 3rd night off going out. Other than that the sights seen were fabulous. One of the hotels in Cambodia's breakfast was below par too but other than that everything was fabulous - we can't wait to book another tour with you all!”

“Our family had a great time on the Slow Road to Angkor Tour. The ride distances were great and gave us a different view of Thailand to what we had seen before. You couldn't beat seeing the Angkor region by bike. Good quality accommodation - so nice to have some drinks by the pool after a day of riding. Staff were super friendly and helpful. The food was an absolute highlight of the tour.”

“Grasshopper Adventures is the best. You pay upfront and then all is taken care of. You don't have to worry about navigating, where/what to eat, safety, who to tip/when/how, etc. Your guide takes care of your every need. This all makes is incredibly stress-free. Then, there's the immersive cycling experience which allows you to really feel a sense of place, allows for spontaneous interactions (e.g. we stopped and watched durian harvesters along the side of the road and chatted with a man tending to his shrimp farm), and gives you the perfect balance of physical exertion/accomplishment and relaxation/reward. The places we stayed at are all luxurious in their own ways, but also very much of the place. We especially liked the Bambu Hotel in Siem Reap. Both our guide in Thailand (Woody) and our guide in Cambodia (Lot) and our two drivers were wonderful -- warm-hearted and enthusiastic. They both explained in length about the history and current social/political/economic contexts of the things we were seeing/experiencing.”

“Our international group of eight travelers had four Thai trip leaders for the first half and four Cambodian trip leaders for the second half -- they were all amazing people who gave us a front row seat to seeing these two amazing countries, sights, and culinary dishes. They had everything planned, fixed flat tires within seconds, and answered to every question. Couldn't recommend this trip highly enough.”

“Incredible trip from start to finish. The grasshopper team give 100% in all that they do, right from enquiry to the end of the tour. Great food, fab hotels, comfortable and well maintained bikes. A million smiles along the way from the local people and nothing was ever too much trouble. Looking forward to touring with grasshopper again.”
